A native of Detroit, Geneva is a style and pop culture journalist, brand strategist and the Managing Director of the newly launched 1530 Agency, a New York City-based digital agency for beauty, fashion, and lifestyle brands that market to women—which also houses her highly successful Style for Breakfast Series in partnership with Uptown Magazine. Geneva is known as “The Style Scholar” among her contemporaries having studied and worked in Paris, London, Scotland and South Africa ultimately earning a Master’s of Arts in fashion history and journalism from New York University’s prestigious Gallatin Graduate School.
One of the most sought after fashion and entertainment digital content creators, Geneva was founding Style and Pop Culture Editor at Ebony Magazine, Digital, former Content Manager at urban ‘it girl’ web destination Clutch Magazine and an ongoing contributor to Vogue Italiaʼs Vogue.it. Geneva extends her insight on celebrity culture and fashion to NBC News Digital, AOL, The Huffington Post, Vibe and Vibe Vixen, Juicy, and Uptown Magazine, among others. When Geneva’s not covering designer collections at Fashion Weeks around the world, she’s interviewing A-listers for the mega-events in the entertainment industry.
