Geneva is a fashion, beauty and entertainment writer. Not your typical fashionista, the Detroit native is known among her peers as The Style Scholar having spent substantial time dedicating herself to the study of fashion history and culture — from Paul Poiret, Christian Dior’s “New Look”,  to the cultural explosion of Patrick Kelley. Geneva has worked and studied in London, Paris, Scotland, throughout South Africa and the Caribbean. With a booming yet still growing career, this 20-something’s expertise stretches from journalism to brand marketing, working with the brands we wear, read and watch like Topshop, Macy’s, Conde Nast, “The Tyra Banks Show”, AOL, BBC, BET, The Huffington Post, Publicis. And the list goes on.

A player in the elite set of fashion and entertainment digital mavens, Geneva was the founding Style and Pop Culture Editor at Ebony Magazine, Digital, the former Content Manager at urban it girl web destination Clutch Magazine and an ongoing contributor to Vogue Italia’s Vogue.it.

When she’s not covering designer collections at Fashion Weeks around the world, she’s interviewing A-listers like Denzel Washington and Idris Elba. A dynamic fashion insider, Geneva not only reports on fashion, she operates in front of fashion, helping to shape the brands we covet. Geneva was instrumental in launching British high-street retailer Topshop to the American market, outfitting A-listers like Beyonce, Leonardio Dicaprio, and the casts of “Gossip Girl” and “Ugly Betty” in the retailer’s trendy looks. She worked as an on-set stylist at “The Tyra Banks Show” collaborating with show producers to bring Tyra’s special brand of fierce to the show’s guests. As a writer, Geneva has covered fashion, beauty and pop culture for AOL, The Huffington Post, and NBC News Digital among a host of other media outlets. A media insider who offers a studied, imaginative and stylish approach to the brands she works with, Geneva is on the road to becoming one of the foremost influencers in the fashion and entertainment worlds today.

A graduate of Michigan State University, Geneva refined her fascination of fashion, and pop culture at New York University’s prestigious Gallatin Graduate School where she earned a Master’s of Arts.
